Interest rates have dropped today and even as late as this afternoon they came down again. Now is the time to lock your loans if you are in the position to do so. These low interest rates are not going to last.
If you are considering buying or refinancing now is the time. If you don’t do it quickly you will miss the opportunity. Rates we end up between 6% and 7% in the next couple of months. Builders right now are making sure they are not stuck with any inventory homes after the buying season is over. If you are not sure what to do please contact me and I will be happy to assist you.
Don’t forget about the first time home buyers credit. $8000 is a great incentive and you can use it as part of your down payment.
For more information on the Frisco, West Frisco and surrounding area or Builders and Home Foreclosures call TEAM DECELL at 214-957-3210. TEAM DECELL is here to meet all your real estate needs.

From State Representative Ken Paxton:
This budget increases our spending by a modest 7.2%, which includes the $12.1 billion federal stimulus dollars, which are mostly dedicated to education and health care, that we received. These stimulus funds, which are managed by the Texas Comptroller, are kept in a special account and will remain transparent to ensure that this money will be used for its intended purposes.
While other states are raising taxes, we managed to lower the margins tax (our State’s business tax), and adopt a budget that stays within the rate of population growth plus inflation. As a result of our fiscal responsibility this session, the State should have approximately $9 billion set aside next session to use for any emergency situation or to allocate towards tax relief initiatives.
This week, Texas Comptroller Susan Combs certified the state’s two-year $182 billion budget that we passed during the 81st legislative session. An appropriations bill may only become law if the Comptroller certifies that there are sufficient funds available for it.
When the legislative session began, Texas was only one of seven states not facing a budget deficit, which is a result of our fiscal responsibility the past few years. Even with the current downturn in the economy, we still managed to pass a reasonable budget that accomplishes most of our goals without raising taxes, without putting the State into a deficit and without spending our reserve savings knows as the “Rainy Day Fund.”
